“The 5th of July” is a song off Reel 1 about the day I was born. I’m fascinated with the idea that we all begin life on a certain day, but since we don’t remember the events of that day, we have to rely on the descriptions of the people who were there. When you listen to the song, I hope it leaves you feeling thankful for life and the people who brought you into this world.
